Dee Brown Library to Hold Resume Writing Workshop

A professional writing instructor will lead a resume writing workshop from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, October 19 at Dee Brown Library, 6325 Baseline Road in southwest Little Rock.

Suzann Barr teaches courses in editing, workplace writing, grant writing, technical writing, and composition at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She said she teaches resume writing and updating in several of her courses and enjoys helping others prepare their first resume or assisting as they update an old resume.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring a pen and paper or a laptop, as well as their resume. For more information about the program, please call (501) 568-7494 or email Dee Brown Library.

Dee Brown Library is one of 12 libraries that comprise the Central Arkansas Library System. It is named for novelist and historian Dee Brown whose most famous work is Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.
