Chris Olsen, manager of Botanica Gardens, will bring his expertise and enthusiasm to two events at the Central Arkansas Library System.

Monday, April 26, 7:00 p.m.—Thompson Library

On Monday, April 26, Olsen will present "Jhemajang and POP" at the Thompson Library. Jhemajang is the mixing up and arranging of different elements, both garden and unrelated, in a funky way that blends pieces into a harmonious grouping. So go ahead and clean out that dusty, dirty corner of your garage and search for those forgotten items that you can jhemajang together to create an eye catching display. Let Chris show you several different possibilities and combinations to beautify your landscape and patio.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7:00 p.m., but come early as seating is limited.

Tuesday, April 27, 12:00 p.m.—Main Library

At 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, Olsen will talk about Spring plantings and gardening at the Main Library as a part of our regular brown-bag lunch and learning series for adults called "It's Always Something." This event is free and open to the public, come early as space is limited! Bring your lunch, cookies and drinks will be provided.
