The Fokker
Spiders, a series of monoplanes, was flown from 1911 to 1914. The Spiders
were designed by Jacob Goedecker and assembled at the workshops of Anthony
Fokker. Goedecker strove to design a monoplane that was reliable and
easy to fly, although the Spiders were not easy to land due to their
cumbersome undercarriage. This is a rare copy of a photo taken in 1936
at Schiol, Amsterdam.

This is
the only photo of a Fokker Spider in the Miller Collection.
