FOCAL Membership



Besides supporting the largest public library system in Arkansas, membership in FOCAL (Friends of Central Arkansas Libraries) offers some great benefits, such as:

  • Advance notice of used book sales.
  • Members-only preview parties and receptions.
  • Early entrance to used book sales, before the book sale opens to the public.
  • A 20% discount at River Market Books & Gifts, our "gently read" bookstore in the Cox Creative Center on the Main Library campus.
  • Subscription to The FOCAL Point, a monthly newsletter distributed exclusively to FOCAL members, which gives you information about upcoming library programs.
  • For those who choose, email notices about upcoming sales or programs. Please note: If you choose to receive information only by email, your membership includes a $2 discount.
  • A 10% discount at Bookends Café in the Cox Creative Center on the Main Library campus.
