Thompson Library Closed for Conversion to Self-Checkout Stations
The Thompson Branch of the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) will be closed March 15-20 to complete conversion to a system utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. While the Thompson Branch is closed, patrons may use any other CALS location for checking out or returning items, placing or picking up holds, or computer access.

Wrap It Up at Thompson
Friday, December 18, 9am-5pm & Saturday, December 19, 9am-12pm. Bring your own wrapping paper and bows or use ours. Our meeting room will be open to you to wrap gifts away from prying eyes. We will provide scissors, tape, and some wrap and bows.

Wireless Internet Not Available To Public Nov. 3-5
Due to scheduled upgrades and maintenance, wireless internet access will not be available in the any branch of the Central Arkansas Library System from November 3 - November 5. Laptops will not be available for checkout and patrons who bring their own laptops will not be able to access the internet.
Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog to Visit!
Firefighter Dayna will bring Sparkles to Thompson Library to teach kids of all ages about fire safety and fire prevention. Saturday, November 7, at 11 a.m. For ages 3-11. This event is free and open to the public.
