Library Day at the Little Rock Zoo
Summer Reading Club participants are invited to stop by your favorite CALS branch before the 31st to pick up passes for free admission to the Little Rock Zoo all day July 31st.

Sugar Free All-Stars Concert
Summer Reading Club concert for ages 3-5. Due to their various musical influences and unusual instrumentation, this funky organ/drum duo from Oklahoma is tricky to classify. The music is a unique blend of New Orleans funk, Memphis soul and Hammond organ-drenched gospel all wrapped up in a rock and roll package. Add to the mix a touch of pop songwriting sensibilities and a high-energy live show and you've got the Sugar Free Allstars.

Springtime for Sanders in Sherwood
Spring break is the time for fun and we'll be playing every day at 4 p.m. at the Sanders Library. Monday will be movie time, Tuesday we'll put together some Spring crafts. Wednesday will be board games, Thursday will be card games. And, for Friday, bring your best Wii skills as we finish the week with games of the digital kind.

Storytime Registration Period
Registration for Book Babies: Storytime for Ages 6-18 months Wednesday mornings at 10:45; Toddlertime Storytime for Ages 18-36 months Wednesday or Friday mornings at 10:00; and Preschool: Storytime for Ages 3-7 years Friday mornings at 10:45. Space is limited; registration is required. Call 835-7756 or come by the Sanders Library to register.

Santa Visit and Gingerbread Houses
Santa Claus is coming to town! Children will meet Santa, get a candy cane (Parents be sure to bring your camera to get pictures), then decorate a gingerbread house with their parents help. Gingerbread houses will be provided,though each family needs to bring a bag of candy to use to decorate their house.
NEW THIS YEAR: Parents please register for a time slot to make your houses. The registration period begins December 1, 2009.

Wireless Internet Not Available To Public Nov. 3-5
Due to scheduled upgrades and maintenance, wireless internet access will not be available in the any branch of the Central Arkansas Library System from November 3 - November 5. Laptops will not be available for checkout and patrons who bring their own laptops will not be able to access the internet.
Adult Turkey Bowl
Tuesday, November 10, at 6pm. Wii Bowling for ages 18 and up. One lucky bowler will win a frozen turkey for a prize. Only 16 spots available. Registration from November 2-9.

Fall Carnival
Join us Saturday, October 24 from 10-11:30 a.m. for a fun, not so scary carnival. Bring your kids dressed in their costumes to make fall cafts and play carnival games. Kids will trick-or-treat to different sections of the library.
