Esther Dewitt Nixon Library offers a variety of public programs for adults and children as well as public Internet access. The 10,000 square-feet facility houses 56,000 books and AV materials.
People of the Library
Esther Nixon was the first librarian for the Jacksonville Library. She served in that capacity for 27 years; she retired in 1986.
Library Day at the Little Rock Zoo
Summer Reading Club participants are invited to stop by your favorite CALS branch before the 31st to pick up passes for free admission to the Little Rock Zoo all day July 31st.
