FULL-TIME POSITIONS

Library Assistant I/ Holds Manager – full-time public service position at Fletcher Library. Responsibilities include pulling and managing patrons’ requests for items, checking materials in and out, answering patron questions, registering patrons for library cards, some information searching and shelving. Familiarity with technology, digital media, ability to do instructional assistance on devices, and excellent communication and customer service skills are required. Familiarity with popular reading and entertainment materials desirable. Some evenings and Saturdays required. $22,505 plus benefits. Janitorial Services Contractor – Millie Brooks Library, Wrightsville – Experienced person to provide contracted janitorial service for the new branch library in Wrightsville. Approximately 3,000 sq. ft. library space to be cleaned 5 days per week. All cleaning equipment, supplies, and paper products are provided. $600/month. PART-TIME POSITIONS

Delivery Driver – Central Arkansas Library System – Part-time 28 Hrs./Wk. Deliver books and materials to branch libraries in Little Rock and Pulaski County. Monday – Saturday with some flexibility in hours. Arkansas driver’s license and good driving record plus ability to drive standard box truck and lift up to 50 pounds required. Some experience preferred. Salary from $12/hour plus excellent benefits. Summer Programmers for Youth –Temporary (20-hour/week) during June and July – Central Arkansas Library System seeks high energy persons to plan and implement early literacy programs for children at the Main Library and in the library branches. LIBRARY PAGE POSITIONS

Pages are part-time positions, sorting and shelving materials. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Must be able to reach all shelving with aid of a kick stool. Must have some knowledge of computers.
